Default Testing CAI intake temps

I'm just beginning to test intake air temps. I currently have a K&N cai (don't know if you can truly call it that) I have an Vararam to install when I have acquired all data on intake temps and acceleration numbers. So far in brief testing with the k&n it appears the intake temps are close to ambient temps as long as the car is moving.

What's your test vehicle and where are you measuring the air temp?

I use a Scan Gauge II on my twin turbo Transit to do essentially the same thing. Lets me know how well the intercooler is working.

Scan Gauge 2 looks like a useful tool!

What is a twin turbo Transit?

It's a Ford Transit van with a 3.5 twin turbo Ecoboost engine with 310 HP and 400 ft-lb of torque. I bought the cargo van version and had upfitted with six more Captain's chairs, two TVs, a Xbox, and a small fridge.
