Tire Warranty

Tire Warranty
New C6 Corvette car with 1,200 miles. The tire became flat. The dealer extracted asmallpiece of woodfrom the tire. Is this covered by tire warranty due toroad hazard. Dealer says "No".
Dealer recommends vulcanizing the tire to repair - they say they cannot replace the tire under warranty because it's "repairable". Tires are "Z rated" - how does vulcanizing affect this rating? Any thoughts?

RE: Tire Warranty
They are correct: the tire is repairable. But when that has happened to me (and its happened three times between the 'vette and the Porsche) I replace the tire anyway. Of course, I actually run my cars at or near their top speed at times, and if you won't be doing that a properly repaired tire is fine for any type of normal, non-nut-case driving.
