Long story short my dad purchased a 2012 white Grand Sport with 3,800 miles on it from Phoenix, AZ. He drove the car back to Salem, Oregon where he resides.

When the car approaches 70+ miles per hour, a sparatic and low pitched rumble/whistle noise comes from the wiper cowl/t-tops area (or what we think). My dad is super **** and picky. When he took the GS into the local Chevy Dealer they checked it out and didnt say they noticed anything.

The guy we bougth it from in AZ said the black plastic cowl piece on Vettes make this noise when they are in dry climates. Can anyone confirm this is true or help with what the matter is?

My dad is trying to take his newely acquired GS on a 2k mile road trip to Cali very soon and needs to fix this. Please help!!

There is a recall to replace an air inlet grill under the cowl on the driver's side. I had mine replaced (free) at Pohanka's Chevrolet in Chantilly, VA.
