Default Valentine One Install

Just got my Valentine One Fed Ex today and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to install this bad boy???

I can't decide if I should mount it on the windshield, visor, or on the dash.

1. On top of the Dash mount - Simplest to do, but is conspicuous and am afraid someone might break in the car to lift it. Also, I don't think it will do the job as good as a higher mount.

2. Visor mount - Nice and concealed... cop can't see it when he walks to the car unless he bends way over... another advantage here is that since it's mounted higher than on top of the dash it could pick up radar at longer distances..only problem is when I take the targa top off, I like to move the visor down, so then will have to put the V1 on the dash or sucker mount on windshield.

3. Sucker mount on windshield - This one has the disadvantage of being visible AND suckers might come off and my V1 could drop and get damaged...

Was also considering getting the remote display option... anyone out there using it? It would be really cool if it could fit in the ashtray behind the door and you could close the door and it would be concealed... but I think it will stick out too far for that.

Also, any tips on how to wire this sucker to the ignition fuse would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I can give a little advice from the old school, in the early to mid 80's when I was driving over the road (big truck), I had a K-40 bird dog, it was high priced for the time but well worth it, I fabricated a mount as high in the center of the windshield as I could, that thing would pick up radar two miles before the Whistlers or other brands.
