2000 original miles, one owner car, all documents. My question is, what is the lowest mileage any of you know of a 427 Z06 that dropped a valve and blew the engine. He looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if he had the heads done. Would you tear apart a car with less than 2000 miles on it to do the heads and will it hurt or help the value? I have to make a decision by tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

 

Welcome to the forum. The only two causes for this problem that I could think of would be that he tracked the car a lot or there was a part failure. Did you ask him what he thought the cause was?
