Default Valve train problems with LS7?

I've heard some talk that some LS7s (as in the C6 ZO6 or the crate engine) have had oil pressure and/or valve train problems, but I can't find anyone who has actually had a problem or worked on an engine such a problem. However, the people talking about it should know what they are talking about.

I don't want to start unmerited rumors about what I think may be the best engine, pound for pound, in the world, but has anyone heard of LS7s with: low or erratic oil pressure, particularly to the top of the engine, or 2) dropped or loose valves?

Never, not once. Everything I have heard about that powerplant is right in line with your opinion there, Lee.

Any chance these rumours could have been started by Lada owners?

Lada owners? Not sure they would know what a valve is. More likely, Viper owners: must really honk them off to now own the second fastest stock American car.
