I've searched the forums for threads regarding C7 interior head/hip/shoulder/leg room but can't find anything. Any help ???

Default C7 Headroom

Can anyone out there give me some first hand info on the interior head/shoulder/hip/leg room ??? I've read the specs that says the C7 has the same interior specs as my C6, but I've read comments on other sites that say the interior seems and feels MUCH tighter than the C6. I'm dying to order one, but need to either sit in one or at least get comments from new owners before I commit $65k to a car. My local dealer is not a volume 'Vette dealer, so his first allocation won't come until next year.

I'm 6' 3", 230# and long in the torso. I am comfortable in my 2008 C6 convertible but am nervous about ordering a new car totally blind. However, if I hear that the room is good, I want to order ASAP so I can get the dealer's first allocation.

Thanks for any first hand info you can give me

Welcome to the forum.

Personally I wouldn't buy one until I had actually seen it because I have some reservations about the design overall. Given your requirements, I would definitely want to sit in one before I ordered one.

Default Headroom in a C 7.

Had my 2014 Stingray for a Few weeks. I'm 6'4", no issues for space. Plenty Headroom & etc. Very comfortable for Big Guys like myself. Plenty Legroom. Seat goes way back & Reclines. Not like any other Vette I've been in before. Hope this Helps... New Interior Design is Awesome...

This thread is relevant to my interests. I'm looking very seriously at a C-7 and from "trying one on" I have to ask this question:

Are seat relocation brackets available for the C-7?

I cannot fit into a coupe and when I sit in a convertible my line of view is directly at the windshield frame.

I've seen GM factory seat relocation & lowering brackets for other GM products to fit really tall guys like me. Are such brackets available for the C7 or am I going to have to look at other brands to fill my desire for a sporty driver?
