I did know that, there's no electricity here and the heat from the aluminum hat of the carbon ceramic rotors is a non-issue so it should be fine... IF it fixes the issue permanently, that is.

I learned something when I was getting an eyebrow put on my Transit High roof conversion van. There is a mark on each side of the windshield with the letters A S and an arrow pointing down in between the letters. When I asked him what that meant, he said that is the lower limit that they can tint. I was wondering if yours abided by that rule which I think is probably a federal law but not sure.

I knew of that as well from many years ago but no, this is under that mark. Legally NO tint is allowed in PA so if you put any on you are technically illegal but they don't seem to care much around here as long as you aren't doing anything stupid.

is is the finish on the exhaust tips the same as black chrome?

It looks like it but I'm not sure. I know the carbon build up wipes off a lot easier than it did on the stock chrome tips so I think there's something more to it.
