Default New Owner 2015 Corvette

I'm a new owner of a 2015 Corvette. The car has front tires that are 245 35z R19. I notice when I am going slow and turn the wheel sharp to maneuver the car starts jumping up and down in the front. Kind of seems like the tires are rubbing, but I'm not really sure what is happening. Any thoughts on what I may be experiencing and is there a way to fix this?

I don't have a car that new, but are those the correct size for the car? Next question is do you have stock wheels? If not they may have the wrong offset. Inspect your tires and inner fender areas for rub spots, it may be as easy as changing tires or something could be bent.

Welcome to the forums. Tire size could be a big factor. If you open the hood can you see any contact between the tire and car frame? For it to hop like that I would think it would be rubbing hard. If you can jack it up I would check the wheel bearings and suspension links while you're down there. I always like to check used (and new) vehicles real close when I buy them. Had a 84 GMC square body 4x4 and it would hop like that with the front hubs locked on dry pavement turning short. So if it's hopping check out the front tires and suspension.

Welcome to the forum. I've heard about this problem discussed in other Corvette forums and I believe it was attributed to alignment issues. I believe the factory alignment was aggressive to make crisper handling at speed. You also might talk to other C7 owners about this issue.

Glad I could help. Sounds like a good alignment man could tweak it and just about eliminate. Of course if you are going to track the car, you probably would want to reset it or even go more aggressive..
