Default Oil in supercharger for real....

I was a little skeptical on oil in the blower on my LT4, so I had a little looksy....well its in there. Its a 2019 Z06 stock with 11k miles and a few track days on it. What else I noticed is this black crud/soot that was pooled up in the corners of intake. This cant be good for the intake valves. Why Chevy did not address this issue is a whole nuther topic....
I did get a Mighty Mouse CC, but wanted to see if I really needed it. Well my question got answered. I have a CC on my race car too, for obvious reasons.

Oddly enuff I checked my Dodge Rams throttle body too and it was covered in a layer of oil, so I threw a CC on it too and I get about a 1/4" oil every 1000 miles in the bottom of CC. So im kind of a CC proponent now.

I my opinion all vehicles should have cc systems, only a few that do. Even the service writers at the local Chevy dealership agreed, they should have cc systems even more so with fuel induction systems with no way to wash the intake valves. But even that doesen't keep the intake manifold from oiling up. Out of sight out of mind I guess. I use cc Systems on all my vehicles, from the 77 Vette 402 to the 24 Trailblazer to the 22 Silverado 6.6L Gasser. GM for one reason can't justify (I would guess) an extra 20 to 50 dollars per vehicle for a cc system. I'm sure GM is aware of the issue.

There are some products on the market for top engine valve and tubro cleaners, crc, acdelco and others that will help to clean the top end. But won't stop it (or slow it down) without a cc system.
