Rim Protector Color Advice

Default Rim Protector Color Advice
I have a 2017 Stingray, Black Wheels, Long beach Red paint. I want to apply Rim protectors to the wheels, but, the red ones look too much like torch red and I think they wont look good on my car. Has anybody seen my color combination with rim protectors? i guess i can use black, but would like to use a color if possible...any ideas?

While I'm not familiar with rim protectors, would it be possible to paint them in your body color?

This is my choice, for my Yellow Corvette, but I think this is more for esthetic than for protection (just my opinion)
