New to C8. What's the difference between Z mode and Track mode? Can anyone tell me please?

 

Welcome to the forums. I think there is information about that in your owners manual on page 211 Or some were close to that. I did see some information awhile back on the Corvette anniversary Forum site 2-22 2023 where that same question came up Z mode versus track mode, it was a long discussion, I didn't read the complete forum but I think it would answer your question.

 

track mode is preset levels for the cars performance, Z mode you set the levels you want.

What M&N said. The other difference is that the Z mode is accessible with a button on the steering wheel. There is also an option to program your own mode and it'll be in the same place as the Sport, Tour, Track, and weather modes are. It takes a few seconds to get to those however.

 

Zmode let's you customize and will let you get decent power and sound but includes every safety feature/limiter. Track mode gives the highest available power and performance and limits some safety features slightly.

Welcome to the forum. I didn't know that about the safety features limitation and track mode. I need to RTFM.

I set My Mode up to have everything the same as Tour except for the exhaust which is open all the time. Also it will start in My Mode when left in it and turned off. Otherwise it defaults to the Tour Mode when you turn it off.
