I just bought my first Corvette. It is a completely stock 84 that has been sitting for over 5 years. I bought a service manual and have spent a lot of time reading. My problem is the engine will not crank over. Also the instrument lights, head lights and horn do not work. I checked the main fuse panel and all is good there. The radio, turn signals and marker lights all work along with the brake lights. I installed a new battery and the fuseable link is fine. Can someone tell me where to go next.

You'll need to start checking voltages starting at the ignition switch and see where you are losing it. But I'd first check at the solenoid and starter to rule out a bad component
