When I open up the doors on my 1988 Chevy Corvette. The interior lights on the door panels and both lights on the hush panels as well as the cargo lights will not light up. Also, the switches on the door panels will not open the glass hatch. However, the yellow button in the console will open the cargo hatch. When I turn the headlight switch all the way to the left, then the interior lights will all come on. Also, the battery will drain if the car is not started after a few days. Can anyone steer me towards the right direction in solving the problems with my car.

 

First the battery drain: while monitoring current at the positive battery terminal, start removing fuses until the current drops significantly or to zero. Replace each fuse before removing the next one.

I suspect a wiring problem wrt the lites.
