Our 1992 Corvette was purchased new in 1992 by the president of the Amarillo Texas Corvette Club. After passing ownership, the car was purchased from a Corvette broker, who used the car as his personal Corvette. The we purchased the car from him in Tampa, Florida, and the car now resides in Southeast Michigan, stored on a lift in a heated garage over the Michigan winters.

An “all options vehicle,” the original window sticker shows the Corvette finished in Corvette Yellow over Arctic White Leather Bucket Seats, a one-year only option. The seats are electronically adjustable and supremely comfortable. Some wear is beginning to show on the driver’s seat, but the seats are in otherwise good condition. The soft convertible top is in matching white, and the rare factory hard top is finished in Corvette Yellow and provides the vehicle with striking aggressive looks. Electronically adjustable suspension was also selected, along with a fantastic German-designed six speed manual transmission.

Mechanically, the vehicle is largely stock. Cosmetically, a prior owner had an artist air-brush a beach sun on the underside of the hood and a C4 Corvette logo was subtly applied in gold flake on the top of hood and is only visible in specific light conditions. A trailer hitch was installed and a custom trailer in matching Corvette yellow was commissioned! The trailer is fully functional and comes with a spare tire. New tires are recommended on the trailer due to age and wear before using.

Some areas of wear on the car are the convertible top weather seals, which are beginning to degrade, and some small spiderweb cracking in on the rear bumper paint (see photos, common with older corvettes). The stock speaker system is currently not functional.

Service history: Under the current owners, the water pump was replaced in 2018 and the Optispark distributor was inspected as is in excellent condition. The oil was changed regularly (annually or every 5000 miles). The vehicle runs and performs in excellent condition and is a thrill to drive with the six-speed manual and 300hp LT1 V8.

The Corvette also comes with a removable nose-protector bra, a Coverking indoor/outdoor C4-logo'd yellow/back cover, the original window sticker, owners-manual, and a plethora of C4 memorabilia.
