Looking to trade a Porsche Cayman S for a C6
Before you ask about the IMS something things to know: these have the bigger updated ones with a much lower failure rate at less than 1%. It’s usually a problem for low mileage cars that were grandma driven… the IMS is lubricated by getting into the upper rev range. (Don’t think I ever went to redline). Car prevents you from wrecking the engine by cutting fuel at redline. California only car as far as I know. Super reliable. This generation has better sounding engines than the direct injection ones.
- would also be open to a grand sport z16.
- Preferably with a head-unit/satnav
- If Z06, hopefully had the heads fixed.
- clean title!
- Z51 or selective ride with the more sporty handling.
- dream car would be 4lt or 3lz full leather, black paint.
- any color is fine but preferably not yellow, white, or dark red.
- looking for a daily driver so no crazy cammed builds that won’t pass smog.
- missing cats is okay though.
