brake problems
 
anyone have any info on DOT3.DOT4 differences?have replaced entire brake system,and continue to have spomgy pedal.bled system 6,7 times.cannot lock up wheels.any thoughts appreciated,jc

My first thought is......
There is an order in which you bleed each wheel.
Left front, Right front.
Then check the brake lline routing, to see which side of the frame the tubing runs.
If it runs down the left side, bleed the Left rear then the Right rear.
If it runs down the Right side, bleed the Right rear and then the Left rear.
Always bleed the wheel closest to the master cylider first and the furthest wheel last.
Watch your fluid level, don't let any air back into the system.

when i replaced the calipers on my z28 i didnt crimp the lines and all the fluid leaked out so it took about 30 minutes of constant pumping and bleeding to get all the air out of the lines.
