Geared Starter for C5?
Anyone know where I can buy a geared (high torque) starter for a C5? My car starts okay but its clear the starter is challenged and its only time.
MSD offers one with a 4.4:1 ratio and a "universal mount" in two gear-tooth alignments (advertisement in Dec. Hot Rod) but I've heard it will not fit LS type V-8s.
Anyone have any idea?
