RE: Had my vette tuned - now there's a rattle.

Just thinking here...I know,,...I'll be careful with that, ...but anyway......Maybe the potential for the rattle was always there and the different vibration characteristics resulting from the tune just brought it out.....I think that makes sense.

I'm really sorry to hear about your pup. Is there anything the Vet can do for her?

We recently brought home a new addition to the family (the Daly Zoo). A tee-tiny 1.3lb, white with black spots(looks like a mini Holstein) chihuahua. My wife named him "Jelly Bean" 'cause he looks like a little "cookies and cream jelly bean....I call him Wheezier. He's a riot.

Could be, George! I usually have the music cranking and when it is on you can't hear the rattle, so maybe it was there before the tune, but I don't think so.

OnThursday she is scheduledfor surgery to remove the cataracts, so Lord willing after that everything should be okay.

Your new addition sounds wonderful and I love both names, especially Jelly Bean. Hope you have lots of fun.

Thanks for your input on my rattle.
Take care. Stay safe.
Rita

I glad you have a shop you can trust.
Since the rattle only shows up when it's cold, Ah jus' 'bout bet cha, it's a butterfly valve. They open up when the enginegets warm, and stop rattlin'.

A Taco Bell dog, eh George?
Do his front feet come off the ground when he barks? :D

Hi, Dave!
I mentioned the butterfly to Larry and he said that is only on older models and not on my vette. Once I'm sure all the varmits are out of my garage, I have to take my vette in to have the radiator hose replaced. That's when I'll leave itandhe can check itwhen the engine is cold.

BTW - emailed Starla a few weeks ago, but haven't heard back. They must be having too much fun catching up. Hope to see a post from Rich someday. :) PTL

Hope you and Rosa have a great weekend.
