Default Ignition Coil Advice

Hello guys, the Vette is coming together very well. However, one of the connectors has broken off of the coil. My question is, this being a 75 with HEI, will a soldered connection between wire and connector hold up, or do I need to replace the coil. I kinda hate to replace the coil, because it is an Accel, and it saves me from having to buy a cap cover, etc. Anyway, let me know.
Thanks, and God Bless,
Dave.

Default RE: Ignition Coil Advice

I doubt if it will, being a solid wire. If it is a HEI, an A/C Delco coil will withstand any stress you will be putting on it, up to as much as 25 to 28 kv. [8D]
