I just got a 1985 C4. It has a 5.7 TPI and the 4+3 trans. It seems at a certain acceleration rate the engine runs smooth but at almost any other there is a significant miss with the engine. There is no service engine light on but at the same time I am not sure that is working either. Several lights on the dash are not working correctly (something else that needs to be fixed).

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
