max size rims on 1979 corvette?

Default max size rims on 1979 corvette?
Its tag says 8 or 9 of 79 so Aug or Sept. DOes that make it an '80 corvette or a 79? Anyways, what is the largest size rim I can go on this without damaging anything? I like the thin tire big rim look.
