Default running rich?

I havent started my car in almost 2 weeks because of the blizzards in crappy cold colorado. I started it tonight it seemed to run ruff for about 5 mins and my a/f gauge is showing its running rich. It also smells like gas, after about 10 mins it seems normal and the s/c is as loud as ever.Is this anything to be worried about or is it because its only getting started about once every 2 weeks.

First, did your check engine light come on? If not, check the PCM codes anyway. You might have codes 0172 and 0175, which means right and left banks running rich, with an H following them (meaning historical, -- the car saw it once or twice but it is not completely recurring). If you did not have this code and have no other codes I would not worry: its running a bit rich. If you have these codes then in was running pretty rich, but if the air at the time was cold,I would not worry too much.

My car is doing the same thing this winter. Basically, really cold air makes results in the enginerun a bit rich: I guess on stock cars the programming knows how to adjust enough, but on the modified maps of a SC'd car it is not quite enough. My car threw the two codes (0172 and 0175) this past weekend whenI took it out in 35 degree air -- that is not really cold but it was tuned in summer at about 90-95 degrees.

If you have any other PCM codes I would maybe follow them up, but those two, no big deal.

Thanks Lee! How do I check the codes though, something with the DIC? Also my check engine light didn't come on, it was in the low 20's for temp so it was kinda cold.
