Nice Job, if you look long enough it all make sense in the end. The bad thing about ground contacts they don't show up in the ECM error codes. Just faulty systems then you go hunting, not always fun....

Not sure how GM's IAC works but on some vehicles they can get carboned up and that will have an effect on the idle speed. Usually fairly easy to remove and clean the carbon off.
