Driver seat track loose

Default Driver seat track loose

I have a 98 C-5 and the driver seat has a little play in it when I apply my brakes it moves forward and when gas it it moves back. it should be a recall item. Does anybody have a fixs for this A new seat track is about 800.00 HELP PLEASE

Is it the channel itself or is one of the bolts loose holding the seat to the floor? I had the same problem on my old 91 Civic and it was a bolt not tightened enough.

it could be something as simple as something having come out of adjustment, or a loose bolt...

I'm having the same problem, but haven't had the chance to look into the cause of it. If I figure it out I will let you know the results.
