Hello,
My husband had been looking for a Vette for awhile. We found an '85 for $5000, so we bought it. But, he really wanted a newer model. So, he found a '95 for $12500. So in less than 3 weeks, we are the proud owners of not one, but two Corvettes! My husband thought we could sell the '85, but I said "Why can't I have a Toy also!" So, that's how we ended up with 2.
I've always been the proper little woman and drove a sensible car (know anyone who wants to buy a '95 Cadillac?). But, once I got behind the wheel of MY '85 Corvette, I was hooked. (Of course he'd want the newer one!) I've only just begun to drive it around. So, I drive it like an old woman. (that's what my husband and kids tell me!) I am enjoying the power behind the pedal and the throaty sound from the mufflers. I know I'm not going to want to park it for the winter.
So, I just want to say hello and I'm sure you'll hear from me often.

What's a Vet Head?
Vet = Military Veteran (retired Dec 2004)
Head = The wind blown look from driving a Corvette with its top off. You only get the wind blown look when you have hair. My husband will never have this look!
