1993 40th anniversary ruby red cell phone
I bought a 1993 40th anniversary edition vette. It originally came with an analog cell phone which was removed and lost by the last owner. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. The vette is like new and it's a shame the original owner took out the phone. I do not believe they knew what they were doing
What kind of phone was it? brand and model, etc. I have several old bag phones and perhaps one car phone, that are probably quite simmilar if not the same. If you're interested. I think they are Motarolas. I'll have to find them.
it was a motorola. It had a cord that attached on the underside of the dashboard. The buttons faced outward as the receiver hung up on the side of the dashboard. It was as big as the cordless house phones that were on the market a few years ago. Thanks for checking. Ed C
I have been to E-Bay and other corvette sites on the web. They were of no help or were too expensive for parts. I found most of my corvette parts at my local Chevy dealer and their prices were cheaper! I am still looking for the cell phone though. If you find the cell phone Blueshark, please let me know. Thanks again
I'll find them and post some pictures for you ASAP. Cheers
After reading your last post more closly you may just need the handset as the actual phone unit may still be under the dash. either way I'll find them.

Blueshark, I found a car dealer who has one cellphone left in stock...$200.00 ..I am wondering whether it's worth the effort since its analog and I really could not use it in all areas of my state since almost all cell towers are GSM... But it would restore my corvette to all original equipment eventhough the cellphone was a dealer installed option.. Whats your opinion. Thanks, Ed
BLUESHARK I found a dealer who has the cellphone and with shipping and handling the thing will cost me $100.00. Stop banging your head against the wall looking for the phone. Thanks for your help. I will now start posting in the appropriate area...Ed
