2011 grand sport Vette
While on vacation in Colorado my Vette had to be towed to the Chevrolet dealership. After checking the car I was told I had a bearing freeze up in the Torque Tube. This car has 30,000 miles. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for my car. I was told the vender wasn't sure when the dealership would receive the part. Pretty sad, car has 30,000 mile. I have been told by many that there must be an issue with the Torque Tube. I was also told the cost would be $4300. That's not including the rental car to get home, the airline ticket to get back to Durango and missing work. To say the least I'm not happy!! I know if you drive them things will happen but come on, 30,000 miles 2 weeks and I'm still waiting.
Welcome to the forum. If you want others to see this, you'll need to post it in the C6 section of the Forum. I follow Corvette issues fairly closely and have not heard of this torque tube bearing problem before.
