Default Hello

I am fairly new to the forums and never got around to introducing myself to the community, so I thought I would do it now.

I am 18 years old from Connecticut; I purchased my first corvette (1993 40th annv. addition corvette on my 18th birthday.) Some of you may remember seeing my post in the c4 forums about the accident I got into with it.
Here are pictures of the car new:

Here are pictures of the car wrecked:

80k miles on the crashed one.

PS- if you have steel wired cables in your area and the rear end locks up in your vette you better duck and for all you with convertibles I would not want to be you if you hit those.

A month after the accident I purchased the same car with 36k org. miles on the car.
Here are the pictures:

if there are any corvette clubs in the New Haven County please post here and let me know, I will be looking for a club to get involved with in the summer.

Take care and enjoy the pictures.

Nice ride, stupid question. Where were the steel cables? Do you mean like the ones that hold up telephone poles?

no, in Connecticut we have 3 steel cables that run along parts of highways and some roads. I was exiting off the highway at about 40 MPH and the rear end locked up, the car fishtailed
and took out seven posts and the cables went up over the hood and threw the windshield. I will look around for a picture that a state cop took of the car after i got out. It was a very bad accident, i would of been dead if i didn't duck down.

Damn, good to see you where not hurt and as you already proved the cars are replaceable. Nice new ride by the way.

WOW, I'm from RI and I have never seen that type of system before. I can see how that accident happened now. That is very dangerous, glad your still around to tell the story[sm=insomnia.gif]
