Hello all!
Not new to the Corvette world, just new to the forum.
I've got a 1981 (was black) that I purchased from a family friend about 12 years ago. Since then, I've rebuilt most of the car and made some modifications. I took out the old Turbo 350 and put in a 200-4R overdrive transmission. I painted it red (the only color a Vette should be, although I do like the polo green on the C4's), and I put on side pipes. There are also lots of little things I've done like removing the smog gear and A/C, and beefing up the suspension. I drive it as often as the weather allows, and do most of the repair/maintenance myself.
I'm always eager to answer questions and learn new things about the Vette. Drive Safe!!
