Hello everyone! I've been lurking on the forum for a while now. I just got my first Vette last Tuesday. It's a Victory Red convertible with a Black top and Black interior. I live in the Detroit area so I have to make the best of the remaining good weather. I haven't had as much of a chance to enjoy the car as I would like, but from the little "quality time" I've got to spend in the car, I love it. I have an 05 H2, an 06 LS430 and now the Vette makes my motor stable complete. I'm planning on spending a lot of time on the forum when I'm not working or motoring.

 

Welcome to the site. Its always good to have a new member join the family. I hear those LS430 are pretty amazing vehicles, I have a GS300 and a RX300 and I love them. Have you seen/heard about the '07 LS460...that looks like its going to set a new standard for all other full size luxury sedans when it hits the streets next year.

Know you will feel right at home with all the Corvette Enthusiast. Haven't been here long myself but the most wonderful group of folk. Come to think of it, never have met a corvette owner that I didn't like. Something sorta special about this group. Here's waving to you.

Tell us about your Vette! Got any pics?
It amazes me how different everybody's Vettes are, even when they are the same year. Truely an American Icon of originality.

 

No pic's yet. Actually, I haven't got to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I've been making arrangements for the past few months to have my garage finished. Kind of like "readying the babys room". As luck would have it , the contractor started the job this past weekend - 3 days after I picked it up. As a result, I've been "supervising" that job and also dealing with less than ideal weather. Since I don't want to leave my new baby out in the elements, I've taken it to my business where it's safely tucked away in the warehouse. I ordered and just received a body colored LED CMHSL and body colored door handles. Hopefully, I can install them in the next couple of days and get some pictures before the weather gets too bad. I live in Michigan and we still haven't seen much Fall color yet. Hopefully, there will still be a few nice days so I can enjoy the car with the top down.
