Hi Everyone!!
Well I'm new, obviously...my name is John and I just bought my first Vette yesterday. My good friend Steve said that this was the forum to go to for Corvette owners (I know there's a few other forums out there) so I signed up!
After saving my money for 2 years, I finally had enough to get a nice car. I'm only 18, so the fact that I bought this car with my own money (and I'll be paying gas+insurance myself too) makes me even more proud of it.
But enough about that... I just drove 800 total miles yesterday to pick up my beauty from Wisconsin. I got quite acquainted with my new car as I sat in it for about 6 hours!! lol She's a 1989 Dark Metallic Red with the black interior. It has the 6 way seats, auto climate control, ZF 6 speed, glass roof, and best of all, only 56K miles.
Here's a few pics...I havne't even had the car for a full 24 hours as I type this, so I haven't had a chance to clean her yet, lol. Give me a few weeks and she'll be all Zaino'd up I promise. B)

This was just with a flash, the lights weren't on

Welcome to the site John and congrats on your new toy, shes looking good. As you probably already know you have not only purchased one of the greatest cars on the planet, but you have also joined a family...and if you remember anything, always remember to wave at your fellow Vette owners as you drive by them.
