How is everyone.
Hi,
I've owned my Black 98 C5 for four years. Sorry I'm so late catching up with you nice folks! I love my car....my wife and kids would argue that I treat my car better than I do them .
My car is not my daily driver but has seen a lot of road. Rhode Island, Florida, Washington State and I live in California. So you can tell I love to drive. I've installed a few mods over the years...nothing too exotic....just the standard bolt-on mods that most evey enthusiast has installed. My current endeavor is a 427 transplant. I've collected a lot of parts and have a good idea of how I want to do it....(Don't worry....I'm a jet engine engineer....the smarts are there....the experience I'm working on!). I've owned a myriad of cars over the years, a 58 Impala (327CI), 70 GTO (400CI), 78 Trans Am (400CI), 67 Chevy P/U (350CI) so I'm not afriad of getting a little dirty.
I'm just having fun with my car and really enjoy tinkering with it. I'll add some pictures later.
I've stopped by the Corvette forums from time to time and I'm pleased to rub shoulders such an awesome group of folks.
Thanks for having me.
Regards,
Preston

Hey Preston
welcome to CF. Sounds like thats going to be a great project with that 427. And with that in the car your going to want to drive it even more I bet.
I'm just curious, you mentioned you live here in Ca. How are you going to get pass the smog laws here by putting in that other engine?
Good luck on your endeavor
and again, Welcome!
