Do you have any suggestions on the back up light fix?

 

Not sure how good youa re with cars but did you check the basics like fuses?

 

A co-worker and also new vette owner mentioned in passing that....this is a common problem.

$16.00 part from the dealer....mounts on the transmission linkage...(said he got the details from A vette site).

It was not a mechanically sound Chevrolet design.....(electrical/bulbs/fuses etc are usually fine).

When shifting to reverse small lever engages this switch and lights come on.


I don't know where to look for more information.
