Default My First Corvette

Hi All,

Just writing to say hello. My "new ride" is a 2001 6 speed hatchback. I am buying from a friend who just ordered a new Z08. He also purchased mine new. It has 23500 miles and looks like it just left the showroom. He already did the exhaust and air mods and Hurst Shifter. I am so excited. I had never drove and barely rode in a vette until I test drove this. I was hooked from the moment I drove it. I have always enjoyed Nascar and Indy Car Racing. With raising twin daughters I could not even think about this until now. So far I am in awe of this car and love the power of the lower gears. I had it all weekend and never was over 85 MPH. Up until now I had every PC Nascar / Racing title and have spent countless hours driving them over the last 10 years .This car is going to bring meso much enjoyment.I feel rejuvenated. It sure makes busting your butt worth it!

Welcome to CF!
Addictive is a tame term, I've had mine for 3 years and I'm just plain strung out.
Pretty soon you'll have little bowties instead of red blood cells.

Nice Vette, BTW.

I just bought my first Corvette too, and share your enthusiasm! I bought a 2005 convertible and the only problem I'm having is that I want to drive it all the time -- putting too many miles on it. I hate to wear it out with daily driving!

I don't see em C3, I'm talking to Ken Cook, not eerforce.

Now, what did you say about late night posting, and eyes going bad?
