Default My second Vette, and I Love it

I recently bought my latest "old car". I am a 60's Camaro and Vette man. This one is a 1968 Corvette. The previous owner put a farely potent 454 in the car. I here it often that this car is worth nothing, because it doesn't have the original engine. That is fine, I don't plan to sell it. This car is my personallity. It has flares, wide tires, custom interior, and a454 that is magnified by the Hooker/Header sidepipes. If it were original, I would be scared to drive it. This sports car is meant to be driven, and it is loads of fun to drive. I still have a lot to do to it, and I will knock them out as time and money allows. I hope that you like it.

dude, Great car. I love those hardtop verts. plus '68-'73 are the sweetest body styles with the tail. I'm working on a '73 this winter.

I like it. If you could see all my mess you'd see that original doesn't mean much to me. HB

Welcome to the site. Thats a good looking 68 you have. Original or not there is a butt for every seat and will always be worth something to somebody.

Everyone, thank you for the warm welcome.
Blueshark, I am a fan of the 68 to 73 for the same reason as you. They have a goodlook. Due to my dad's influence, I like the 65 to 67's, too. PG, now that I-77 is nice, smooth and wide between Rock Hill and Charlotte, it is incredibly hard not to stay out of the pedal.

Welcome to the CF, namttip... You have a cool looking ride that won't get lost sitting in a group....

Anyone that saysa 'vette isn't worth anything 'cause it isn't stock original....has their head where the sun don't shine!!

As long as you like it, drive it!

Happy Holidays,
