New to forum not to Vettes
Well here goes, I'll try to keep it short. I rode in a Vette for the first time in 1958 (I was 6 yrs old). A friend of the family loaned my Mom his new Vette for a week, as her car was in the shop. When she went to return it, I got to go along. Mom hit the hiway, punched it and ran through the gears. Set me back in the seat with a big grin on my face. Finally, in 2004 I bought my own 1980 L82. After 4 grand in the suspention and drivetrain, I have a car that handles like it's painted on the road! I'm a 40 yr. guitar player and love country and R&B. I can fit my wife, suitcase, guitar and amp inside and we're gone. I live in Reno,Nv. and my best buddy (he and I have played together for about 35 yrs.) recently moved to Portland, Or. I like nothing more than to pack up and go see my Bud in our "Starship". Chevy, The only way to fly. (Have you ever heard of a bullit that can turn corners? I have one!)
Great post, my friend! We can't even fit a bag of groceries in our droptop, so I admire how much you can pack in your 1980 there!!
I can't wait to hear how your big block project comes out... wish I could go for a ride with ya in it!!

It's my best Bud that moved to Portland, I'm still in Reno.
I bought the "Starship" from a guy who lives just South of Salem.
I'll try to drop ya a line the next time I do a mission in the "Starship", to Portland.
C3 Ya!
