Hi 84vette: Big old wave out to you. What can I say about an 84 vette. I love, love, loved mine. Bought her new and drove her for 160,000 miles and after buying the 93 sold my faithful 84. Not one time ever did she give a moments trouble. Even after we bought the new one I would go back and drive the 84 before we sold it. On the day the guys was coming to get the car, I took her out for one last spin. Really had a strong engine and I just loved that car. Only reason we bought a new one was that I would go on quite a few road trips and hubby thought I may like a newer one. Yes, I do love my 93, and the older ones, but the 84 was always a special car to me. Enjoy your 84 and the corvette forums.

Hi Again 84: I didn't have one minute of problem with my 84 the entire 160,000 miles. Although I had folk to tell me what troubles they were having with the cross fire. We were at the Lowes show on Saturday talking corvettes and one guy was trying to tell us what a lemon he had with his 84. I'm not even sure he believed me when I told him mine gave not one minute of problem. Matter of fact, the guy that bought mine 13 years ago, still drives it to work everyday. So there, can't explain why one of us was saying no problems, and other saying it was trouble. Maybe someone else here can give you more info. As for me, no issues. Here's waving to you.
