A bit of a dumb question but i'm intrigued. How did the GTO compare in your eyes? I think they have the same engine and at one point I was considering one of these but didn't get passed the vette.

No comparision. The vette is just plain out sexy...

 

The GTO just can't match the performance of a Vette.
There's more to perfomance than just smokin' tires.
Two dif class of cars. The Vette is a world class sports car.

The GTO I had wasn't bad, 2004 Impulse Blue Metallic, it is the same motor. The GTO weighs alot more and just doesn't look as good. I had installed a lot of mods when I parted with it. I had the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Double Din In Dash DVD/Nav Unit with XM, Bluetooth, Cold Air Intake, SLP Long Tube Headers, Magnaflow Cat Back. It was nice, But this is my 4th Corvette and honestly once you havea corvetteyou cannot stay away for long. I have uploadedpic of the GTO, my last corvette 2000 and my corvette before that on 1981 Silver.

what an eye-catcher! i've always heard, once a vette owner, always a vette owner...guess there's some truth to that after all!!!
