Greetings all, I've been longing for a chrome bumper C3 and this seemed to be the best place to look. I also do a very minor amount of trafficking and trading parts just to feed the habit. Looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about these cars. I've worked on every other line of Chevrolet but somehow owning a 'vette has escaped me. Spent over 5 years in an automotive machine shop learning from some of the "old timers", now I am one. I am a certifiable motor head, still porting and polishing the old ways though not as much as I once did. My boss there had written the very first IHRA rule book and was Shirl Greer's right hand man in the very early years. I always loved our Saturday jam sessions where Shirl, Bill Morton, and others would drop in and tell tales from days gone by. I miss the camaraderie as all those guys are gone now. Hoping to make new friends here. I live about 2 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway and Thunder Valley Dragway so I get to stay close to the action. Thanks
