My 2014 has developed a rattling noise coming from the dash - sounds like it is from the instrument cluster area . Is this a common problem and easily fixable or does dash need to come out ?

 

I would start by looking at the attaching hardware for loose screws and or broken clips. You shouldn't have to take the whole thing out.

 

Try the hardware first, but may have to do some disassembly.

 

Welcome to the forums. You might check the engine side of the firewall and see if there is something loose there hitting the firewall. Tap the brake pedal when you hear the rattle and see if there are any changes. It takes a awhile to isolate the noise sometimes.
