I have a question about buying a Corvette as a daily driver. I was given this task by my sister-in-law who says her husband "has always wanted a Corvette" and now that he is in his 70s, she is thinking about selling his Camry and getting him a Vette as his daily driver. Sounds a little nuts to me, but each to his own. He is a minister and not flush with money, so I am thinking he could go for a low mileage C4 from the 80s which should be relatively cheap or he could step up and pay the price for the best 10-12 year old version he can find. What do you Corvette owners recommend? Is there a way to take care of his Corvette Jones or is this a crazy idea? Besides the cost of the car, we also have to consider insurance and maintenance. What do you recommend?
