Well I just had a great experience,bought a 76 vette 2 days ago and today the hood cable snapped. HELP !!!

For your cable issue, there is a thread running here for someone else who has the same problem. Link to thread. I don't know if they found a resolution yet...

Check the C3 forum and you find some info on your hood cable prob.
