Default Steve from Oklahoma

Just got a 79 L82 as my first Corvette project. Not many things good mechanically
but didn’t pay a lot and this is my hobby. I will look to my fellow enthusiast from time to time
for knowledge and information. Thanks in advance

Red face Probably in over my head

I have done 2 Pontiac trans am and 4 third gen z28 rebuilds including engine builds with the help of fellow shop teachers
(I am retired welding instructor). I always thought a corvette would be a real nice conclusion to my
love of cars and restoration at my financial level. I was always honest at my end of buying and selling but I am overwhelmed by the lack of integrity in people and their deception. At 65 I should always remember....
buyer beware! I am sure a lot of you started the same way so I look forward
to moving forward.
