automaxx(chris thin)selling flood corvette
bought a 2000 Corvette convertible from there in March of 2006 and found out later that it was a flood salvage imported illegally from the US. Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation recently deemed it non-repairable so it can't be driven on Alberta roads. Automaxx refuses to refund me my money stating that they did not know. BS, I have copies of invoices paid for and sent to me by Automaxx long after I bought it showing repairs done to the car because of waterdamage and a copy of a rebuilt title Automaxx got with the car (put 2 and 2 together morons, you call yourselves car experts). It's going to civil court in May and criminal charges are going to be laid very very soon against Automaxx and Chris Thin the GM of the store. This is not the first time that they've ripped people off, do a search on this forum. To everyone who reads this, save yourself a headache and stay away from Automaxx and Varsity Chrysler for that matter, they own Automaxx. Stay tuned for further updates

Thanks for the info, sorrythat you're havin' such probs. [&o]
Just what is it, that makes it unrepairable by the standards of the Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation ?
