I just bought a sony HD/DVD for $475 including thr hdmi cable(audio+video).There is definately a difference running this cable as opposed to the composite especially with the audio. If you don't have the HD player you can't watch HD discs,period.

Make it a TOSHIBA!!! The TV is a Sony.

 

Did you get the HD-A2. If so, how was the set-up? Difficult? What about the firmware? Did you load any?
