Hot August Nights has begun. We, here in Reno and Sparks, have been invaded by litterally thousands of classics, rods, and customs.A big parade, on Sunday,will finalize the weeks activities with hundreds of beautiful cars in the line up.
Seems like every large parking lot in town is full of the best, of the best, of the best.
There are over 500 cars up for auction during a 4 day stretch, and a parts swap that covers about 10 acres.
I'm goin' to go around Reno and Sparks, collect up some pics and will post them next week.
Wish y'all could be here. Cars are showin' up from all over the country.

Dave, If I wasn't wet sanding I would be rigt there droolin' with you and Rosa. lets see...it's Wednesday now and the show is over Sunday.
Dickson to Reno = 1984 miles ....all 4lanes so that equels just under 20 hours one way right, if I drive the '87. If I leave at 6am tomorrow I'll arrive at 2am friday that means i'll have half of riday and all day saturday at the show with you and can leave at 6am sunday and be back here monday morning in time for a shower and open the shop at 6am. Plus I get to drive the hell out of the Vette. Sounds reasonable to me how 'bout you?

I know what you're feeling!! August is great every year here in Michigan, home of the auto industry. Sunday the 18th is our Woodward Dream Cruise and there are thousands and thousands of vehicles participating every year. Unfortunately I will be away that weekend and will miss the cruise for the first time since it began.If you or anyone else ever get the chance, come up and see some of the world's most awesome vehicles. They truly do come from all over the world!!
