Things change, although my interest in cars, particularly cars with big-displacement pushrod engines, will never change . ..

No, the Porsche will stay around for a while: it's our daily driver, etc. I am sort of thinking, down the road,about trading it on an '08 'vette with the 4LT (premium interior) package and paddle shifters, but only thinking at this stage -- again my little Porsche is just about a perfect car, and I haven't seen of driven an '08 and it would have to be very good (I hear it is) for me to make the switch.

As I say in the For Sale thread, this is really just about the fact that I never have time for the car anymore. I had to force myself to find time to drive and enjoy it this weekend; so many other things going on in my life now. Seems a shame for it to sit there weeks at a time and not be driven.

 

Wow, this post definitely caught me off guard...but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. By the way how many miles do you have on your car Lee?

 

Man, I would love to have that car. I'd have to sell mine first though.
