If stupid was a crime.....and I was a judge.......I'd have all the trees full of dangling idiots..... and there would only be about 20 people left in this state. Self centered people suck!

If it's just through the clear-coat you might get away with a spot of clear and you would never even see it. You will need to cover it though as the metallic in the silver will eventually oxidize and start to bubble up the clear around it. Don't want that.
