1. The Shield. So underrated it's not funny. Do yourself a favor and rent Season 1 and start from there. You'll be hooked after one episode and it really gets better from there. Great series!!!

2. 24. Again, rent season 1 and you'll be hooked after one episode. I watched all of Season 1 and kept telling my wife to just watch the first episode and if she didn't like it I'd leave her alone. She finally watched it and finished Season 2 before me. CAUTION: This series causes lack of sleep and most of your conversations with friends will revolve around this show.

3. LOST. Season 1 was incredible and it's fallen off since then, but I loved the first season a lot.

4. Prison Break. Another show that you really need to have the entire series at your finger-tips to watch one after the other.

5.(tie) American Idol/ Survivor. Can't have a list without some reality TV in there. Good thing about these is you don'tneed to know what happened last season to thoroughly enjoy them.

This site will allow you to watch many shows for free. Nothing to pay for or download. Just click and watch. A lot of good movies on here too. www.watchtvsitcoms.com enjoy!
